Working at The Hinds Head is as exciting as it is challenging. Every day is different and expectation is always high as we have a great reputation to uphold. Being Head Chef is a great privilege, and being surrounded by enthusiastic people makes it very easy to come to work everyday.

What is it like to work at The Hinds Head:
It is frantic working at The Hinds Head. The pace of service, the expectation of customers and the high standards of working in one of the countries most well known pubs make The Hinds Head an exciting place to work. I also feel a sense of pride by working somewhere that is associated to a 'brand' of fine dining under the name of Heston. I have a strong passion for food and customer service which I work to portray each day, so that customers return time and time again to The Hinds Head.
What I have learnt from working at The Hinds Head:
I have obtained great insight into the importance of food preparation and how it can differentiate the simplest of dishes into something that is considered to be a culinary delight. I have learnt about sous vide and the experimental nature of marrying various ingredients in an attempt to obtain the optimal taste for the dish (and the customer).

What is it like to work at The Hinds Head:
Working at The Hinds Head is never the same twice. Every day is different and varied, and that's why I like it.
What I have learnt from working at The Hinds Head:
Whilst we all take what we do seriously, we also know how to have fun with in and out of work team events and outings, making it an enjoyable environment in which we also spend a lot of time.
Since joining The Hinds Head, I have learned mostly through the in-house training. We have a lot people who take their time to train us in their area of expertise and it not only enhances our skills at work, but also gives us tools to improve our CV and develop our interests. Wine has featured greatly in our training, as well as food products and knowledge. We also have weekly training on Sundays where we all get involved to decide what training we feel as a team is needed.

What is it like to work at The Hinds Head:
It’s a privilege to come to work every day at the Michelin pub of the year. It’s a new and different challenge everyday whether it be explaining a tasting menu to 40 people or making an intimate meal that extra bit special. It’s a busy, lively restaurant that never leaves you bored. There’s a great team spirit and we're always looking for more people to join.
What I have learnt from working at The Hinds Head:
Even after only being here a short time I’ve learnt so much I could be learning a new dish with the chefs or trying wines in the bar. There’s always something happening and my knowledge is only improving.
