Chef de Partie (Pastry)

You will be working on various sections making sure they run smoothly and efficiently. You will report to the Head Chef and carry out these essential duties:

•ensure all stocks are kept under optimum conditions

•ensure all mise en place is always freshly prepared and on time

•make sure all dishes are prepared to the correct recipe and quantity

•check all dishes meet our standards before they reach the pass

•maintain a clean and tidy section at all times

•uphold correct behaviour by kitchen staff on duty

•attend training courses/seminars when required

Above all, you are knowledgeable and passionate about your craft, and you want to know more. You are able to share your knowledge and passion for all things gastronomic with your colleagues.

You will deploy good management practice in relation to more junior staff, in order to get the best out of them. You will be able to maintain your energy, enthusiasm and cool in a very busy space. You will also be keen to develop your skills and ambitions within the company as far as possible.
